Spam gets through all my filters at about at a 2% rate. it’s usually the very simple ones that have nothing but a link. but recently I ran across one that I actually read, reason being I wanted to find out why my filters failed. well it was an HTML email with an alt version for plain text. I have my mail client set to only open the plain text version so all I saw were proverbs. I know this darn thing is spam but they are now surrounding their real content with interesting stuff a person might want tot read. clever but still went into the spam bin.

- Happiness is the act of being tough with ourselves and tender with others.
- I divide all readers into two classes: those who read to remember and those who read to forget.
- You are where you are today because you’ve chosen to be there.
- No accurate thinker will judge another person by that which the other person’s enemies say about him.
- Lawyers are the only persons in whom ignorance of the law is not punished.
- Never in the field of human conflict was so much owed by so many to so few.
- For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do. [(Romans 7:19]
- I believe in Christianity as I believe in the rising sun not because I see it, but by it I can see all else.
- Let the tent be struck.
- We cherish our friends not for their ability to amuse us, but for our ability to amuse them.
