This is exciting for me. I ran accross Steve Gustafson’s post about a CF gatway that he created called mxnabot. You should check it out. it is interesting for me because I want to offer this type of innovation in my office.
As I do every day I browse the web looking for aticles and blog entries to improve my understanding of Cold Fusion and User Interface Design. Today I ran across and article by Philipp Lenssen called Why Good Programmers Are Lazy and Dumb.
He talks about how a lazy programmer will look to make tools to do things for him. And in the end those tools will improve his productivity and in seeking to make that tool it will in essence give him new skills. This is a small look into what he is talking about. I have not mentioned the dumb aspect, which I think you will also find interesting.
On a side note I saw a couple of comments that missed the point. You should look at the meaning of what Philipp is trying to say reather then the words he chose to use.
